Hoah… finally back to see my blog. I went to Malay for a vacation. It is quite a fun there and I would like to share a little with you guys how unique Malaysia is and some tips to save your money if you’re planning to go to Malaysia.

Well, from my experience:

1. Stay in Bukit Bintang.

Choose Hotel in Bukit Bintang area. Bukit Bintang area is like a shopping district in Kuala Lumpur. So, it will be easy for you to go anywhere, to shop, and to eat.

2. Buy Digi phone card.

I recommend Digi if you want to buy phone card for your mobile to make phone calls in Malay. It is very cheap to call abroad.

3. Always bargain.

Do not be afraid to bargain. Bargain half of the price that they’re given.

4. Tourist Privilege

If you visit mall in Kuala Lumpur, go to the information centre and check if they have privilege for tourist. Usually, they give discount card for tourist by showing your passport to them.

And in Genting Highland, the casino give a card for tourist so when you’re playing in casino you will get point which can you use to get free hotel room.

My friends who even only watch the game in casino receive points which he also uses to get a free room.

I got one free room to stay in First World Hotel for collecting 10points. I am not sure how they count the points but I was only playing a few games and got the 10points already.

5. Tea-O and Coffee-O

If you were ordering tea in Malay, A tea means tea+sugar+milk. So if you want just a regular tea, you should say tea-O.

And, so does the coffee. Coffee in Malay means coffee+sugar+milk. So, if you want to coffee with no sugar and no milk, you should said coffee-O without sugar.

That is all from me. Hope these tips useful for you. Have fun in Malaysia!
